Delivery information

To order from Organically Speaking you must register with us. Please note this is not a credit account; payment will be required upon ordering. Payment should be made by a valid credit or debit card bearing the visa, maestro, or mastercard symbols. We do not accept American Express.

To register with Organically Speaking you must be over eighteen years of age.

You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.

You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by updating your personal details, within the order deadlines specified on our website.

We reserve the right to not deliver your order if we are refused authority from your card issuer for payment or we reasonably believe that payment will be refused. You agree to compensate us in full against any and all reasonable costs and expenses (including legal) costs and expenses that we may incur in obtaining payments due from you that you have not made in accordance with your agreement with us.

If a payment has been rejected by your bank, you will not be able to change your order in any way via our website. You must contact us to arrange payment and wait for that payment to go through before you can make changes to your order through the website again. You can, however, change orders by calling or emailing us, during our office opening hours and subject to our usual ordering deadlines.

Your submission of an order amounts to an offer to enter a contract to buy the products from us; you cannot then withdraw or cancel your order except as stated below.

If you order by telephone, your order will be accepted verbally by our staff. A contract for our sale of products to you arises on our acceptance of your order.

Products are all subject to availability, where we accept an order, we do all that we can to ensure that your order is fulfilled; however due to the nature of fresh produce and market conditions we do not always know if a product is or will be available at the time of accepting an order. If we are unable to deliver an item you have ordered, we may offer a reasonable substitute. You may reject that substitute and if so we will refund any amount paid for it. We bear no liability for unavailability of products.

All products offered by us are subject to occasional change in price. For example fruit and vegetable items are subject to seasonal changes in supply levels and supply prices. Organically Speaking will endeavour to warn you of any changes to the price or availability of items in our range. However, we reserve the right to change our prices and products without notice to reflect such changes. Current prices will always be shown on the Organically Speaking website and can also be obtained by telephoning our shop.

 

Ordering and Delivery general

Organically Speaking aim to offer you the best service possible, however we cannot guarantee that the service will be fault free. If a fault occurs in the using of our website service, please report it to us (see below for contact details) and we will correct the fault as soon as we reasonably can. Occasionally access to the Organically Speaking website may be restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will restore the service as soon as we reasonably can. In the event that our website is unavailable, our usual order and cancellation deadlines apply; please notify us of changes to your order via email or telephone.

 

Delivery Schedule

We deliver all of our products in our own vans with our own friendly drivers to parts (but not all) of Surrey, Berkshire & Hampshire. We deliver to these areas on set days of the week and a minimum of 48hours notice is required for deliveries. We deliver to the rest of the UK using couriers.

To ensure freshness of products and to minimise handling times so that orders arrive in perfect condition, deliveries made in our own vans are prepared in the early morning and delivered the same day, deliveries that cannot be made in our own vans are prepared by ourselves and orders are delivered by next day courier. Fresh products are sent packed in insulated cool boxes with ice packs. Not all our products are available to be sent out by courier.

If your order is being delivered in our own van we will deliver to your area on a set day of the week, this will usually be either a Thursday or Friday. Due to the nature of the fresh produce if you are out your delivery will still be left (not returned to the courier depot). Therefore please let us know a safe place where you would like the delivery left if you are out.

 

Delivery rates

 

Own van deliveries

For deliveries made in our own vans there is a nominal £1 delivery charge, there is no charge for orders over £100. Minimum order of £20. 

There is no need for you to be in for us to leave the delivery but please make us aware where you would like the delivery left when you place your order, if you do not let us know where you would like the delivery left our driver will leave in what they believe to be a safe place but we cannot be responsible for any goods left when you are not at home.

 

Courier deliveries

Standard delivery and packaging within the UK is charged at £8.95. For all orders over £100 standard delivery is free of charge. Items requiring chilled or frozen transport will be sent out in insulated boxes which incurs an additional delivery charge from or courier company and this will be charged at £6.95 per box.

Standard deliveries are made Monday – Friday. If you require a Saturday delivery this can be arranged but there is an additional charge, please contact us for details.

No minimum order for courier deliveries. If an item is small and lightweight please be aware that it may be sent out via Royal Mail rather than courier by first class post.

If you have any queries with regards to delivery charges please contact us. The standard delivery charge is for one delivery to any single United Kingdom address.

Hampers and selected other products have different delivery charges and these are clearly identified in the product information detail In the event of non arrival, please contact us as soon as possible on 01252 845577

PLEASE BE AWARE COURIER DELIVERIES REQUIRE A SIGNATURE, PLEASE THEREFORE ENSURE SOMEONE WILL BE IN AT THE ADDRESS THE DELIVERY IS GOING TO,  WE ARE HAPPY TO ARRANGE DELIVERY TO A WORK ADDRESS OR NEIGHBOUR IF YOU WOULD PREFER THIS.  PLEASE BE AWARE IF WE HAVE TO REDIRECT A DELIVERY TO ANOTHER ADDRESS ONCE THE DELIVERY HAS LEFT US THIS WILL INCUR A FURTHER DELIVERY CHARGE FROM OUR COURIERS WHICH WE WILL NEED TO PASS ON.  ANY QUERIES DO PLEASE GET IN TOUCH.

Christmas produce including hampers will be dispatched individually and specific additional delivery terms and conditions may apply. This information will be available with the product details. Exact delivery dates for Christmas will be publicised on our website nearer the time
